That is a very good looking car, particularly the interior, but I do wonder whether it's face is a bit 'cutesy' compared to say the Golf or the Focus, but you can't ask for a better review and with twin clutch paddle shift to come, things do bode well for Alfa.

Just showed the review to Mrs Tee who was suitably impressed and I think there'll be a test drive in due course, however it'll have some work to do to get her out of her Focus, which has been faultless from day one. I suspect this will be the Guilietta's biggest hurdle.

Emtee prior to the Maserati I had an Alfa GT 3.2 V6 which never missed a beat in the 2 years I had it.............prior to that I had an Alfa 156 2.5 V6 which in the several years I had that gave me not a minutes concern. Unless you are very unlucky Alfas today are not what they were in the 80's. They are generally well put together and a totally different proposition to Alfas of yester year

Totally agree UM, we had a 145 cloverleaf about ten years ago. The car didn't miss a beat, sadly the service network did and blew up the engine! But that's history and the network is nowadays sorted by most accounts.

I used to get my cars serviced at Veloce which for me is one of the best indies in the London area

I've had two 155's and two GTV's and all were reliable. Used my local Alfa dealer in Cwmbran and found them very good...Must have been one of the lucky ones.
