Alternative 4200 wheels

Just thinking about alternatives, to the original, 7 spoke and GS wheels, not many really!
I know FD offer some alternatives, and also HRE at great cost!
What I'm after is the wheel spec for the GranTurismo, PCD, off set etc.
I know they won't fit out of the box, but depending on the off set, may be scope for wheel adapters to correct the off set and PCD issues.
I've no issue with using properly engineered bolted adapters, Porsche use them from the factory, and previously owning a Lotus Elise, bolted adapters are available to adopt later style OEM wheels to earlier models to correct the different off set and bolt PCD, so why not Maserati?
If I can find the wheel specs, I can determine if possible...
Cheers
Mike

There are these.................HRE make the best ones but as you say not cheap......

Although the advert states Gransport, I think it is an error and they are really for the GranTurismo.
I would never buy anything from Khan anyway, it would just remind me of the hideous creations they produce, usually to a Range Rover Sport!

If you can stick to the OEM wheels, they can be bought secondhand at a good price. Eurospares have some nice GranTurismo wheels that have been refurbished for just over a grand a set...hence looking if hub adapters are possible, just need to know the off sets of the GranTurismo and the 4200, might not be possible at all.

Thanks
Mike

I have Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2's on my 2002 4200cc with Pirelli P Zero's on well pleased with the wheels wheel bolts corode as well as any one elses though.
Give them a bell or go through a motor sport specialist like Demon Tweeks.
Phil.

That's interesting, can you post some pictures? Also do you have the wheel sizes and tyre sizes?
Thanks mike

Off thread but I do like the Leonardo front splitter for the 4200

I had a price list for Leo Nardo when I had the 3200 as Cortese were dealers....Bloody expensive...I liked the stuff but a set of wheels 5 years ago were 5k........

Agree, never been a fan of Khan either.......Although Lewis's/Dicky's 4200 looked good on them.....

I've managed to track down the off sets of the various wheels, and the conclusion comparing the different wheel widths, off sets, and also taking into account acceptable maximum wheel spacers when used with the original wheels, that's its not possible to use an adapter to account for the different PCD's between 4200 and QP/GranTurismo.
Basically the QP/GranTurismo wheels if fitted with an adapter of 25mm, the thinnest possible to alter the PCD, would result in the rear wheels sticking out approximately 36mm more than standard, so an additional 11mm more than the standard wheel with a 25mm spacer, and the front wheels sticking out approximately 35mm more than standard, so an additional 20mm than the standard wheel with a 15mm spacer.
At least I now know!
So custom aftermarket wheels are the only option.

Front wheels are 8J 16 with 234/4018 Pirelli's and the rears are 9J 16 with 265/35 18 Pirelli's

Like those Phil...Had a set of team dynamics on a Lotus Elise...Liked them....

Quite nice Andy , but it niggles me that they have stuck the company name around the rim ,totally unessesary and ruins the look IMO
