I think I might be able to pick up stateside, so hopefully save on some shipping with any luck.

I like the idea of having the foot rest metal aswell, unlike in the set at eurospares.
Totally. That is the easiest to fit. For the brake I would suggest a bit of 3m tape to hold in position so you can mark the holes for drilling. You live and learn...

Ordered frozen embossed antislip pedals, will pick them up in the states on a future trip with work this month. So far communications etc with ultimate pedals has been excellent.

Fresh from my eventual triumph over my headlight / cruise control issue, ill be picking up my pedals in Phoenix on Wednesday.

I'll put pics up etc later this week.

Looking forward to having them installed.

So I successfully picked the package up from my hotel state side and I'm loving the look of the pedals. Look totally OEM out of the box.

Going to install them now.

I'm assuming with the foot rest, the factory rest plate can't be removed (unlike the rubber pedal covers) and I'm just using self tapping screws to secure into that?

Cheers

I bought the genuine aluminium footrest from Maserati. Wasn't expensive at the time like £60.
It's secured simply via 4 counter sunk Allen head screws, through the car overmat with nuts on the back side.

The ultimate pedal set comes with 4 self tapping screws. I'm guessing I'm securing to the existing rubber / plastic foot rest, as I'm not sure that can be removed?

Edit

OK just read it can be removed, but a bit concerned about using the self tappers in that area.

No, the footrest is fixed against the vertical-ish bit of carpet, with the fuse box cover behind.
Here is mine.

So I decided to remove the existing foot rest and secure the new plate to the metal beneath.

Just used 2 of the tapping screws.

I will need to use 1 longer bolt on the brake pedal, but it's well secured with 3.

Can't recommend ultimate pedals highly enough.

Superb service, communication and an excellent quality product.
