I’ve just picked up a new set of rear upper wishbones from Maserati. The invoice details were correct, although I’m sure had a decimal in the wrong place but we all know that story!
this is what I received, am I missing something?

The original part looks the same as those on early 4200s. The new part for later 4200s/GS. Not sure what year they changed. However, the schematics show the same part number (196779) for the 3200 & later 4200/GS, whereas, for early 4200s it shows both 196779 & 198592/A. All of which suggests they should be interchangeable.

Thanks Navcorr, I was hoping you’d say that.

wow genuine OE suspension parts! Thought they were all gone, but guess the rear uppers are the longer lasting item. Last time I checked the lowers were finished. Good work in a single garage :)
