Am I missing something?

I’ve just picked up a new set of rear upper wishbones from Maserati. The invoice details were correct, although I’m sure had a decimal in the wrong place but we all know that story!
this is what I received, am I missing something?

Those look like the arms on the Gransport, I'm assuming they don't fit the 3200?

The original part looks the same as those on early 4200s. The new part for later 4200s/GS. Not sure what year they changed. However, the schematics show the same part number (196779) for the 3200 & later 4200/GS, whereas, for early 4200s it shows both 196779 & 198592/A. All of which suggests they should be interchangeable.

No problem. There are a number of threads where the issue has been discussed.
Are you changing the arms yourself? I believe you will need to drop the subframe to fit.

You’re right, I dropped the frame a few weeks ago. I’m going to change the brake lines while I’m at it.

wow genuine OE suspension parts! Thought they were all gone, but guess the rear uppers are the longer lasting item. Last time I checked the lowers were finished. Good work in a single garage
