I'm English and I don't. He is a remarkable player who has worked hard and chipped his way through possibly the toughest tennis generation there has ever been. Despite numerous failures in Grand Slam finals he has never lost his desire and ambition and has now beaten the world number 1 in the Wimbledon final. TBH, I never thought he could, I thought he had reached new heights and peaked when he came back from 2 sets down in the quarters, which was a magnificent showing bearing in mind the enormous media pressure he was under. Awesome. Well done Murray.

I just noticed this thread....you do realise that this was the first all scottish wimbledon final. Andy Murray V Jock Ovic. the guys up here in the shetlands reckon he's not a real scotsman. if he was he would have been in the pub watching the tennis
