Another Daily For Me!

I originally bought the Barchetta as a daily which it has been for the past 3 years. To this day the car has only covered 33k. Not bad for a 24 year old car.

I saw 4 cars before purchasing mine, this was by far the best I had seen with a fantastic interior, new hood, zero corrosion, FSH.

Over my period of ownership I have changed the 15” manky steel wheels for 17” Team Dynamic alloys, had all the dings removed, full front end respray to get rid of all the stone chips. I also purchased a rare desirable hardtop which I had resprayed to match and replaced the sagging material headliner with a genuine black suede one. I can honestly say that the car is absolutely mint and so started to think of purchasing another car to do the daily commute in………..So I purchased this from down south about 2 months ago…

Can you tell what it is yet??!!

nice - not seen a real one. The bedford Abarth place were trying really hard to sell my daughter Abarth Spyder when she was looking at 595 competitizione. Couple of younger lads turned up in "punto Abarth" but daughter told me it was a "bits".
More pics please!

They are rare, especially in the authentic 'Esseesse' guise which this is. Normal AGP's push out 155bhp whilst the Esseesse was 180bhp but this one is pushing out 227bhp!!

As you requested!

A good client (he lurks on here too) has a Punto Evo Scorpione Edition of them which is even quicker. I’ve always liked them. Good on you for choosing something left field.

Now they are super rare!! There was one for sale on ebay a month or so ago for almost 17k!! You will have to look out for me, I'm pretty sure it's the only one in Chester.......I like to be different! ;)

As Richard says, a bit 'left field'.............I don't like to 'go with the flow'!!

Love the Barchetta but finding a good one is a challenge, so many look great on top but underneath is a different story
As I said Zag I went all over the country viewing 5 cars along with the help of others on here looking at some for me (Newton & Greeny.....Thanks)! and they were all sh!t. This one had a few cosmetic requirements but was solid with zero corrosion, new hood and the interior was like new! So I purchased this one knowing I could sort out the other bits.........I won't bore you all with the full history of the mild restoration but here are a few from the day of purchase to today's condition...

Lovely, not a silver car lover but with the Barchetta condition is everything so beggars can't be choosers
