Afternoon All
Just a quick post to say Hello from another newbie.
After along history of supercar ownership I've just sold the Porsche 911 and "invested" in a 2002 spyder in Blue.
I purchased it through a well known independent dealer and paid top money for it but managed to get my long list of dues and demands including a new F1 gearbox pump and relay, A/C overhaul, full major service and a quality warranty accepted so feeling pretty pleased.
A big thank you to all those who've posted on here over the years as reading your experiences proved invaluable in putting together my list of demands to the dealer.
After owning both an AMV8 and a Lotus I'm very familiar with the concept of alternative parts and was pleased to see that its the same with Maserati.
It never ceases to amaze me how a 20 quid part from a Rover suddenly morphes into a 120 quid part for a Lotus. We owe it to ourselves to continually ferret out alternative parts and it would be great to see,as in the case of AM and Lotus owners clubs, an alternative parts guide book.
I'm currently sat by my pool in the SW of France (81440 St.Julien Du Puy in case you know it!!) and am due to collect the Masser first week of September when I return-no doubt just in time for the heavens to open!!!
I'll add a photo of her on my profile when she arrives but, in the meantime, I'd be keen to meet up with any N. Yorks. owners.
