Bristol Cars have gone into liquidation. Their cars can be a bit Marmite, but it's sad to see them go after 75 years in business.

Someone bought the name it wasn’t really Bristol Cars proper.

Used to love their Kensington showroom, always drove round the block twice when passing seemed the last refuge of a past age of car buying.

I used to walk past coming back from an exe's flat when I was a student. In the wee small hours....

Tony Crook who ran Bristol for years but when he retied in 2007 the writing was on the wall
I believe if my memory doesn't fail me ( but it does nowdays with more and more frequency ) that they were the only manufacturer that refused to let Clarkson loose on one of there cars , but James May was a fan ,as is Stephen Fry

Correct Loz...See you memory is fine....Clarkson said nasty things about them so wasn't allowed to test them......They weren't great looking cars mind you. Not suprised they aren't here anymore.
