Ofc a lot more when into it that just what you see in the pics,
I had to use some of the sportswagon 2.0 wiring mated to V6 wiring as the doner car was a saloon and the refit is a sportswagon, then I moved the oil filter from the bulkhead to the off side front wheel arch,. The Rewiring also included putting in a hidden press button start but using the key to unarm the immobiliser and put a live current through the car but blocking the key to start her.
I then modded the dash to make her half internal facelift, the engine was stripped cleaned retimed, polished internally, and finally rebuilt the gearbox had the same treatment ,before being re-sealed, the chassis was stripped down cleaned up and repainted, with the underside being stripped and undersealed. The subframe was also stripped cleaned and repainted, new springs were used around along with drop links and wishbones, the exhaust as you can see and hear is a new cybox stainless steal one with sports back box and no restrictions or cats.
The body work was cleaned up, then new side skirts added and blended into the body work the whole car was then repainted.
The roof rails removed and a new back bumper was also used.
With the expection of the repainted all the work was carried out by myself alone, it took just under two days to complete the strip down of both cars the engine and gearbox rebuild and the full rebuild of the completed car, bar the re-painting witch happened a few weeks later. The duel throttle bodys were a later addition using a old 156 v6 to test fit, cut and rebuild the intake system, before being put on the rebuilt GTA. All in all the car was GREAT fun to rebuild and drive.
