When the Vaccinated figure stood at 3million, I think we hypothesized that 50-55 year olds would be vaccinated by June. It's not even April yet and a lot of us in that bracket have had it. I'm aghast that the government have exceeded expectations, especially when Macron tries to deride AZ to deflect his failings...

Had mine yesterday evening, slight headache and feeling a bit tired this morning but a kip at lunchtime has resolved everything, no problem. Have felt much worse after a good session the night before.

Yeah, not running at 100% 10hrs sleep last night. Had some paracetamol this morning, just taken some more as some muscle aches are kicking in. It does very much feel like a hangover. Which is a bugger since I'm not drinking.

It is a magnificent achievement. I feared they would somehow manage to muck it up. Very happy to be proved wrong.

My jab knocked me out for the day after and still felt a bit wobbly the next but completely fine now.

The statement that Macron made with regard to AZ and which was reported world wide, has or will cost lives. For someone in his position to do so clearly indicates his lack of professionalism, and he should consider his position. Anyway, he had the jab today, so that’s ok.

Exactly my feelings too. This coronavirus affair is not a political football, buy hey ho, as JVT would say, he's scored an own goal by not listening to his scientific advisors.

Pretty sure it will cost lives. Their use of AZ as a political weapon has shown their true colours. The program in EU is a shambles. I am 52 and my Spanish parents in law are both 80, with no idea of when they will be vaccinated.

Wife really upset as she has not seen them for 15 months now.

I'm not calling schadenfreude but you can't help thinking that the European leaders have messed this up royally. German is looking at a third wave which is predicted to be exponential.
Yet they had controlled it so well initially. The gov was right in getting this vaccination rolled out as fast as possible by giving the single shot to as many as possible first before the second shot (and Blair called it too) . Meanwhile Europe didn't order anything till late and then b!tched that the AZ was unsafe because someone had a blood clots. I'm no doctor but I know the risks in taking any medicine. Unfortunatley they did not weigh the risks against the vastly superior benefits to the general population.

So very tempting but this is probably the longest I've been without booze for about 3 years. My limiters are screwed so I need to reset them

I've been cutting back too Chris, drinking far too much at the weekends..
I'd forgotten what it was like to wake up in the morning without that fog that's lasts till 3 in the afternoon!

Although I have a small glass as I type this, that's going to last all night!

Yeah, that's where the problem was. The one glass turned all the restrictions off. So abstinence is best right now

Livers can actually re generate as you probably know, given a short but reasonable length of time. So that says something about the initial design of the human body and it’s sub systems.
