I know a guy who must be the unluckiest man in the world

Most of his family and many friends are dead from Covid , saw him today and more have died , plus despite there only being a handful of cases in the UK he knows someone who got a blood clot and died after being vaccinated

I am wondering if he's related

If not the government could solve CV19 by putting a private detective on him and isolating everyone he talks to

Had my first AZ jab on Thursday, Ireland well behind the UK, had a few aches on Friday but knocked on the head with paracetamol and been fine over the weekend. Just need to wait 12 weeks for the second jab

We've had all of (only) 480k vaccines done here in SA, with over 700k healthcare workers still needing one. Our government called the first 480k phase 1. At this rate I'll probably be in phase eleventy seven (for those wondering what that means..Zuma & numbers) We will start with phase 2, the rest of healthcare workers, over 60's, first concentrating on care homes etc. today.

My other half was due his second in a couple of weeks - he got a call yesterday inviting him to have it today. The lady who spoke with him also told him to tell me demand for my voluntary help with the roll-out may be stepped up!

It's not solely an EU thing. Colleagues in Romania are well vaccinated. I guess if some countries want to follow the EU herd they can, others have made their own decisions.

Anyway, I had AZ and felt fine, Mrs Crud likewise.
