I figured a security torx bit. T27 in fact..
er..no. Maserati must get these specially made..? Do I drill the teet and use a reg torx, or is there a fitting that can undo these little bugger5….

Think you’ve put up the wrong pic.

There’s more than just one “Torx” there also Torx Plus and TTap.

Just buy the correct driver, grinding the pip off will be a pain. I'm sure when I bought my set they weren't expensive.

Agreed. They’re a but mullered by now. I’m guessing Torx Plus.

I do wear my glasses, honest…
I really didnt notice FFS. I put the bit in the lathe and drilled it to accept the ‘teet’ thinking it was the issue.…
I hate Amazon. I guess I’ll spend the day cancelling Prime now. Should have stayed in bed….:lol2:

Many years ago I spent two weeks driving back and forward trying to get a socket to fit an MGB axle nut. It was only when I went and bought the genuine BL socket I realised it was an 8 point nut.
