Anyone one had experience with Essex prestige. They have a white 2010 4.7 mc sportline 65k. Any good?

Not personally but whenever I've seen people ask about them they all say stay clear and be warned. It does look like good value though!

Same as all other comments ..... Never used them but not heard great reviews on here and Pistonheads.

I bought my RS4 from them. Nice helpful bunch, sorted everything on the car and the detail they did prior to pick up was out of the this world. The car looked better than new.

HOWEVER make sure everything that needs to be done is done, because once you're off the forecourt, you're on your own. Seized exhaust valves and some effort toward sorting them were met with stony silence...

They dont seem to have great Google reviews, the rest is down to you. I would avoid.

I guess they wouldn't object to a pre purchase inspection then ?

Couldn't say. They do have AA standard pre-purchase inspections, but it turns out they self-approve them. It's a all a scam...

Like I said though - the prep was phenomenal!

Someone posted a review on their Facebook page that they had made up service history and log book details were wrong. I made them pat 200 quid for return of car.

Dealer feedback is often subjective - I bought from my car from a dealer mix “mixed” reviews, but had a great experience and when after 6months the steering rack started to weep they stepped up to the plate and ensured the warranty covered it fully, including transportation.

Fair enough Phil, but making untrue assumptions about another members experience, to seemingly discredit that members opioion will normally get a response
