That’s really generous of you. I think there should be more communication and ways of doing this to be honest. I don’t ‘think’ you can tell if you have had it without being tested positive and then recovering.
I understand a test has been developed that can show this, but not sure it is being deployed yet

Speed cameras are to be fitted with facial recognition software to identify the over 70's who will then receive fixed penalty notices. The cameras will not be dual function, so those under 70 will be asked to drive responsibly ;)

Heard from two sources now (both reliable) that there will be a complete lockdown by Friday at the latest. School shutdown first and then complete so get the basics in as shopping will become a bloody nightmare!

On the plus side, did you see that new planning rules / relaxation mean that pubs and restaurants can now offer take-away and delivery services?

The fine here has gone up to €375 for being out without the correct paperwork or breaking the rules laid down.

Is anyone on here, or know anyone who is in a senior position in a wholesaling or local business involved with stocking or producing N99/FP3 facemasks?
there is a shortage for frontline staff at present due to local supply chain issues. I made a few calls this morning and secured 100s but 30,000 may be needed. Any contacts / help appreciated. Most local stores are depleted by self isolators whilst nurses and paramedics are fearful of limited protection.
Plenty on eBay but the prices are extortionate!

Similar to my 'reliable sources'. With a slight change.
Schools will be shut from Friday with a lockdown for the rest of us some time next week, probably next Friday.

Pound dropped today against dollar to $1.17 to £1. Lowest since 1985 apparently.
Boris, you need to up your game, businesses need grants not loans. Trumpy just gave every adult in USA $1000 in the form of a cheque cashable NOW.
We are behind the 8 ball at every turn.

I went into town this morning; I visited 2 shops, a cafe and the barbers. Pleased to report I’m still alive and that there were other hardy souls carrying on as normal. Keep calm and carry on.
Watch the simulation Adam posted. The I’m alright jack attitude works for most people numerically speaking.
Just listening to Parliament and a question was raised that NHS staff have been issued masks with an expiry date of 2016 ???
Boris is going to look into it so all good.
they crossed out the expiry date on them. Modelling says we will need 30,000 in our hospital. We have 2,500. I am off out to the hardware store order to get some on the way to pick up my daughter from school
