. my logic says we are over hyping this ...................... from what i can make out ................my own personal GP surgery and MK A & E says for 3-4 weeks now they have never been so quiet , on the other hand kaz's daughter works in a pharmacy and has never been so busy .
Doctors surgeries are quiet because the familiar faces they see week in week out are furloughed or self isolating so don't need a week off work because they have a sniffle or hit their thumb over the weekend
Pharmacies are busy because of panic buying and doctors pandering to it by just giving them prescriptions on the phone.
I'm not fit in any sense of the word but my doctors visits in the last 30 years can be counted on both hands , last time I went was when I had vertigo , the doctor gave me tests and questions then eventually said I can sign you off work for 2 weeks
I don't need signing off work, I'm self employed, I want something to fix it, most of his time was spent trying to diagnose whether I was really ill instead of believing me then 2 minutes to write a prescription.
£10 to see a GP would do it
