I’m not sure it’s going to end anytime soon.Where does it end though , they hand out the flu vaccine in the winter for a reason, if there's another mass outbreak what then, we all hide in our houses, I doubt there's enough gas and spare capacity in the national grid to heat every house in the country 7 days a week for a month.
There's going to come a point where we're all going to be at greater risk because there's no money coming in and no furlough.
Best enjoy ourselves while we still can, then, eh.
Chin up!
If a vaccine that works is found in mid 21 it’s estimated it will take around 5 +years to vaccinate everyone. Can’t see if your chin is up - f'ng lamp shade still in the way.
Seriously, a beer on Bournemouth beach will be the highlight of many peeps lives for the next 1-2 years. Winter will make us all face up to a greater familiarity with death. How the government titrates economy versus life will define the next year or so. Life led the CV19 #1 response whereas the economy will lead the CV19 #2 response as the medium term health cost of letting the economy tank again is immense. As for a vaccine, mid 2021 on if we are lucky.
Keep driving the Masers (and AMs for impostors) and enjoy the cheap fuel.
It may not rule your life but at the moment it will certainly be impacting upon your life.To answer the OP, still not at all. So far, I’ve taken zero precautions and am enjoying life just the same as always. If I’ve had it, I don’t know and if I haven’t, tbh, I don’t care. If I do get it and it kills me people will laugh but again, I won’t care. This sh!t isn’t going to rule my life because, quite frankly, I couldn’t give a cr4p. Happy days.
Its interesting you have been contacted, I thought they were doing health service followed by carers and recently announced delivery drivers / taxi drivers. Not yet. Apparently I will be contacted to get an antibody test and if it is positive (to confirm my feeling that I've had Covid-19) then I will be asked to donate Plasma for it's treatment.
Apparently the antibodies in males over 40 are way higher than those of a female in her 20's for example.
Males carry more for some reason, which would also explain why 75% of deaths are men (male privilege eh?).

That's one way of avoiding the speeding offence. To answer the OP, still not at all. So far, I’ve taken zero precautions and am enjoying life just the same as always. I would quite like a test so I would be able to donate to help treat others, other than that I am not sure knowing one way or another helps and could even make people more complacent.
As for accuracy of these test who knows, my daughter had two negative tests for Covid and a positive test for antibodies ! As it happens she is off to donate later today.

But it already IS ruining your life, you just don't realise it. Yes, you can go out, drive your little car and even now have a beer in a pub.
There are so many sporting and theatrical and musical events you can't enjoy. TV and film is not producing much new material right now and zoom is the order of the day for most reporting. You cannot travel in a meaningful way to foreign countries because it is either forbidden or too stressful to do so. You personally may not be at risk but you know that you going about your everyday business is potentially going to ruin someone else's life. Going to shops will not be as enjoyable with everyone having to wear masks. The list goes on and on.
Life is not going to be "happy days" for anyone, no matter what for a long time. God knows how long!

Thanks - registered, let’s see if I get a testSam, you can register here, you get an antibody test as when you donate.
Plasma programme
We have now completed two major trials for convalescent plasma for people in hospital with coronavirus and no longer need convalescent plasma donors to come forward to donate.www.nhsbt.nhs.uk
They called me yesterday afternoon to book me in for a donation, however, as I still get after, effects of headaches, breathlessness and muscle aches (although this could be just me getting older) they have postponed it for 2 weeks.
