Below is an email that my 16 year old grandaughter sent to Boris yesterday. She did not tell anyone that she was sending it, and I think that it speaks for its self. If the UK general public who have contributred a clap on a Thursday evening are also prepared to accept this, that also speaks for itsself.

Subject: Why don’t you like nurses and midwives!!!???
Dear Boris Johnson,
My name is Millie and I am a 16 year old girl from Wales. My mum is a midwife and works very hard, day in and day out and so do all of the other midwives and nurses. She has had to deal with COVID patients, and still doing so, just like all of the doctors and not only that, still deliver babies along the way! This is why I find it disgraceful that you have decided to give teachers, the police, the army and doctors pay rises and not them. Why leave them out? Did they do something wrong? Is it because they had a tiny pay rise last year? If so, all MPs got a pay rise last year too. Are you getting a pay rise this year Boris? Did a nurse help save your life.
Yours sincerely,
Millie
