The guy that repainted my sills says that it normally £400 per side - removing them is a PITA and you destroy the foot plates in the process requiring a new set at £100 on top. The road rash on the doors themselves could be covered with maserati supplied stick on guard. Mine had these which "saved" the door, but did not extend down to the sill.
I also got the front , bumper, bonnet, front quarters and rear view mirrors done as well as the wheels. I had peeling clear coat problems as well as chips and scratches.
There are two versions of black paint apparently. One with 4 different colours, amd another with lots more. I had the one with 4. It's a good match, but if you look closely the metallic flec is a different density. Not sure you'd get the flec with smart repairs? Actually, not sure what a smart repair really is.
At the end of the day the car is cheap as chips. Any work you do on it is purely for vanity becasue it's your pride and joy, but a quality job won't be cheap and do nothing for the value sadly. My front end looks lovely, but it only highlights the imperfections on the rest of the car now.
However, paintwork secondary to the mechanical soundness of the car
