Can not comment as I'm Distribution...Problem is it's ASDA's name but its the third party insurance comany that you will deal with as with Tesco and the like.........You could go direct to Asda House and by pass the Insurance company and explain you position........

Yeah understand they work basically as a name for the insurance company that represents them but at the end of the day it is ASDA's name and if things like this do happen then ASDA need to know about it unfortunately my standard of insurance knowledge is slightly higher then the average Jo, my grandfather owned an insurance compo, my mother has worked in the Industry all her life and I have been brought up within the industry and to top it off my sister works within the governing body of insurance ombudsman.
But fair warning to you all check check then check again all info provided and not provided but supermarket insurance company's.
The MAIN problem I have is not the lost of the money or the fact that I feel they lied to me, it's the fact my WIFE AND CHILDREN were at risk on the road due to ASDA at best my wife could of had been arrested for no insurance, the car impounded, she gets a huge fine and points on her clean licence , at worse.............. I'd be blowing up the offices and shooting any survivors crawling out of the rubble.
