Brian Clough, he was a great manager although not many Leeds fans will say that. I think the film "The Damned United" is excellent. Best line is when Brian (Michael Sheen) is speaking to the groundsman "i want this pitch looking like a f**king carpet" always burst out laughing when he says that because the pitch is more like a plowed field.

....thats wrong Adam......................................the word is GREATEST...........:)

Sorry :D no your right though, took Derby from bottom of Division 3 (i believe) to top of Division 1 and won 2 Euro Cups with Forest on the trot. Forest are in the sh!t now, Steve Mclaren as manager, could not win a raffle that bloke.

On what other Forum could a post about Autocar vs Maserati turn into a discussion about Brian Clough?!

Love it!

I'm a Leeds fan and I'd agree that Cloughy was the greatest. Sir Alex, for whom I can't express my extreme dislike as I would wish to on a public forum, must be a close second.

As far as the original post, I don't buy any magazines. They're almost all about new cars, which I'll never buy anyway as you can always get a better one as a used example. Even if I could afford a new GTS, I'd be after a classic for that money that'd appreciate instead of costing me £20k a year.

To be honest, after reading all the older Evo magazines, i much prefer them to the new ones, the new ones are just not as interesting to read.
