I'm in my fourth year of ownership and have done almost 20,000 MILES, been abroad to Modena twice, Paris once and recently to the isle of Wight
. I've also driven it hard around tracks (remember the tranquil Silverstone parade lap?).
I drive mine to work on Mondays and back on Fridays but use the Seat in the week.
It gets the annual service by an indie for the stamp and I attend to most issues myself having an automotive workshop at my disposal but not during work time!
These cars are meant to be enjoyed not stuck in a garage. So get out there and drive them, if your worried about the residual cost then a Maserati is not for you.
But if you do take custody (we're merely the keepers) of my 4200 it'll be in better order than when I took it on and mechanically as good as any 4,000km a year garage queen.
Sorry if this sounds like a rant but these cars are not Ferrari 250 GTOs, they will lose money! Enjoy them !
