Don’t waste your money on anything other than an established / recommended Osteopath.
Chiropractors are basically no better than witch doctors & will rinse you for as long as they can.
trust me I should know having had issues with my back & neck for years the Neurosurgeon who inserted the implant in my neck told me that any of the above that didn’t fix the initial pain issue after 2 sessions would be a waste of money however the better option is definitely the Osteopath.
Great advice

My back pain has reduced, but I've succumbed to contacting the GP. I've been given an appointment with the physio tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.

I know cannabis can help with that, in case it’s something that doesn’t easily go away. I had back problems for years because of my work, and just a few months ago, I started treating it. Since there were complications, my doctor recommended a cannabis-based treatment. If anyone from the UK is reading this, Releaf was the clinic I turned to. The whole process was pretty easy, with most of it taking place online, and the cannabis was delivered to my door for me to administer myself. Within a few weeks, the pain started to subside.

Need something like that! I am at the physio twice a week since February 2024. Some days I am fine others I can’t seat all day. Replaced the mattress with the most expensive I could afford and I have to say that made it a lot better.
In February I couldn’t lift a bag of groceries which is not big deal. This bloody sore back robbed me of lifting my 2 years old boy. Something I will never get back in Life.
Thursday I am going to a clinic to get a wider solution including increasing core strength.
Worst of all I don’t know how suddenly I couldn’t lift anything anymore and it was sore like ****.

I suffered with Sciatica for years until I had two of my discs removed and the bones fused about a decade ago. Been brilliant since but have heard so many terrifying stories of people who have had the same operation, that I wouldn't actually have it done now.

People have mentioned "sitting down" as an issue and they are right. My surgeon explained to me that if you watch Chimpanzees in the wild, they don't sit. They crawl, run, walk, all those things we do...but they don't sit upright like in an office or a car. It's totally unnatural.

I’m 65 now and started getting problems several years ago. I tried to ignore them for a while but then got some help. The first thing was Alexander Technique which made me think about my posture and reconfigured the way I sit, stand and walk, providing I continue to think about it! Secondly, I found a good chiropractor who did quite a bit of work on me to realign things and give me various exercises that I now try to do daily, as routine. Ultimately, my conclusion is that, providing you haven’t done the kind of damage that requires surgical intervention, you have to start doing a bit to help yourself with strengthening and flexibility when you get to a certain age …

Over 10 years ago when I was preparing to emigrate to New Zealand I had to have a very thorough medical to prove I wouldn't be a burden to their health system.
Having worked all my life as a mechanic a few issues we're highlighted.
Main one was my spine and that I would be stooping and arthritis had already started.
Anyway 10 years on and a big change in my diet from living with my Ms French and I've got zero issues at 62 now.
We eat Organic as much as possible and Fresh produce.
Main ingredients that go into a lot of what we eat are
Garlic
Ginger
Tumeric
Lemons
Honey
You'd be surprised what they can do for your health.
The only exercise I get is still working on Car's.

This may seem a little unconventional but, before anybody goes racing off to a surgeon, have a listen to the teachings of Dr Sarno who is reputed to have cured 85% of his patients (principally from back pain and other m/skeletal symptoms) through the power of the mind.

The theory is that the mind creates distractions in order to prevent unacceptable emotions from surfacing and being expressed, and this manifests most commonly as back pain. He says this complaint, along with some novel disorders such as repetitive strain injury and fibromyalgia, have taken over from the traditional stomach ulcer which has since fallen out of fashion. So now the mind finds a more in vogue disorder to use as a mechanism to vent internal (unconscious) rage.

Even if you don't accept his teachings, it's very interesting to listen to!

Here's the Spotify link and a copy of what the book looks like (in the image) if you prefer to read:
