I think that car was for sale with DK engineering for awhile earlier this year. Various new body panels, I seem to recall reading. The brake upgrade is a good addition, as is (for the purposes of more tyre choices) the 16'' wheels. I haven't seen the car, but agree it seems to have had a few of the important issues taken care of.

There are (at least) two types of these cars - the sorted ones, which have had the regular maintenance done and those which have had some works skimped, a bit of neglect. As with our beloved Maseratis, the cost of 'sorting' a poorer example will generally far exceed the cost of buying a top quality example in the first place. I was discussing these and other 'entry level' Ferraris wth a well regarded Ferrai specialist this week and he was a fan of the 308 GT4 as a first Ferrari - but it must be a good 'un in the first place.
Yellow, well, I'm perhaps not sufficiently extrovert to go for that. They do look fantastic in dark colours, though - dark blue or black really suits their shape, imho.

Good information there. I have personally always like the 308 Dino, nice wedge shape that is a classic, Personally i like the yellow but i have to agree, the dark colours such as blue with tan leather would look rather tasty. I think your right, D.K Engineering did have this car for sale earlier in the year and it was up for 16K there as well. If it is a straight car which i think it most probably is, then it is a steal for that price.

I bought mine from David Miller at Forza 288, albeit inadvertantly as I bought it at auction. Mine was metallic blue with crema and blue interior. That yellow one looks quite useful, I wonder if ti has been raced with those mods, these are really popular in the club championship - Chris Rea has got one now instead of his usual classic stuff (££££).

i spoke to urby bout this car a long time ago, he said he hated it

oooopppssss.....I must say though that the current Maserati being debated as a buy for the forum....is far nicer in style looks than this Ferrari model....IMHO....
