As a newbie I'm slightly nervous I'll be next on the banned list

but somehow it's ok to like a Renault and yellow calipers???
Think of it as grudgingly tolerated rather than ok.

Zep, with his yellow callipers, is simply going through a rebellious phase. It's unusual for one so advanced in years to try to rebel against society but it's important that he feels included, respected and, in some strange (not-physical) way, loved. So the world smiles gently, safe in the knowledge that one day he'll revert to a more acceptable form of self-expression. Like self-flagellation, facial tattoos or removing the pineapple from his pizza.

As for Phil and his bloody Renaults, **** knows what's going on there. I think he's French.

A couple of points of order if I may.

  1. Advanced years! **** you very much :lol2:
  2. It is impossible to remove pineapple from a pizza, on the basis that when so adorned it ceases to be a pizza and becomes and abomination before god. Like andouille but less conventionally stinky.

Is pineapple pizza to you what andouille is to Benny?

I have witnessed Zep very drunkenly attempting to carry an even more drunken rotten knob sausage; we refer to him as Rob though (amongst other names)!

I was the sound track Crofty playing the piano?!

I do so enjoy having personal insults thrown at me by somebody I have never met - just why I joined a forum for my favourite car….

Personally, at the risk of facing more insult, I decided to give the future meetings a miss, if it involves turning up and facing abuse from a long term member

Would it be possible to adjust the anti swear filter to remove any combination of the letters t n c u appearing together in text? I think it’s the only offensive one.
Words like function, Scunthorpe, community, uncut, might become illegible, I can’t think of any others, but it will be mildly amusing when the word bot removes them.
As soon as we do, he will get a new one in.

Singular, if that helps. Overall the real-life forum is a cheerful and welcoming place, in my humble opinion.

Seriously, I wouldn’t let Benny and his keyboard moments put you off attending meets and shows.
Face to face I have always found everyone friendly and welcoming and sharing the one thing we all have in common “Maserati”!

I agree, but can totally understand @Kiwibrit's view point, I'm afraid.

Absolutely agree with other sentiments on this. I've been around for a while now and been on quite a few meets and I can honestly say that everyone that I've met has been very friendly and welcoming - even Benny. We were all newbies once.
