Hi Zep, sorry no I sold my 3200 many years ago. It's a 2004 qp

Ah! In that case this is right up your street. The 6 pots from a GTS bolt on as Leicesterminster has shown, they are regularly listed on eBay. As you need the brackets an set from another car (or say a Ghibli) won’t do it I’m afraid.

Ahhh understood, was just trying to save a few quid, as assumed the brembo 6 pots won't be specific to Maserati, but as need all the brackets off a 4.7 breakers it is

The rears are set up with new brake pads, plus new handbrake cable.

discs and pads are Eurospares

excuse the mess in the boot, and the obligatory jump leads !

Okay so today I’ve managed to install the rear brake upgrade with GTS genuine bigger rear discs and pads, also 4 pot conversion. new handbrake cable.

just one point to note with this. The original brake hose is slightly short and tight so it’s worth including two new long rear brake hoses.

the parking brake shoes were fine as I’d only had them lined sometime last year. Handbrake is set to 3 clicks.

for fitting purposes I have removed the brake hose from holder to relieve the stretch and cable tied it as temporary measure

Nice. If you have e type brake pipe flare I have 2 rear braided pipes that were sent to me incorrectly

Thanks Gaz, I’d need to check and confirm from the metal to braided joint what type they are, as I only removed the main calipers sides
I imagine they are f type but you are welcome to them if you are lucky and they fit. Not sure if you can get a convertor.

Maybe if ur attending Supercarfest I can collect from you and give them a try. Let me know if you want any cash for them. Thanks Gaz

Good info on the brake lines. I have a full mc set with steel lines. But i think the steel lines are for a 4.2.
So might order a set for the 4.7 before installing. Just waiting for my pads to wear down.
