Yeh will be getting some cameras fitted, sadly it will not stop these low life’sIt’s times like this that a quality hard wired dashcam that is motion activated may have at least captured some footage.
FWIW, I agree. Sounds like an opportunistic addict looking for some easily disposable electronics, sun glasses, or whatever. Definitely local. Not a guy with two brain cells, judging by the method of attempted entry. Not a vindictive act though. If it was that, it'd be far easier to pour paint stripper or similar over the car and/or slash the tyres.Unlikely someone is going to travel a long distance with the specific intention of breaking into your car, only armed with a screwdriver or such. So unfortunately it seems more like a vindictive local vandal. There was nothing to gain even if they forced it open, so now looking for a vindictive local vandalistic idiot. Nothing like this happened before, locally ?. If not, it might be something personal. Have you recently ** off the local vindictive vandalistic idiot. The trouble with this sort of thing is that it may be repeated after you have carried out the repairs. Hopefully you reported it to the police, it really pisses me off, I really s feel for you.
