Superb looking car and does look like great value, considering the milage and the age.

Down sides are it doesnt look to be an LE and doesn't seem to have much in the way of spec - no rear sensors, no heated seats, not seatta badges and no auditorium 200. Not sure if it has xenons either - do the washers mean it has?

Certainly looks tidy in the pics and if it's had its annuals and checked out on a PPI, I'd say it could be a very good buy. Rare and very nice (IMO) colours too.

Incidentally, if its Med Blue with Avorio and black carpets, there is only one in the UK and thats a 2006 car - perhaps its this one, but just registered late?

I love this car, one of the best GS that I have seen IMO, however still don't think it is worth £30k, is it really twice as good as a 4200?

That old debate andrew.....is the price difference worth it over a 4200??
I would say its worth it over a 3200 as its a lot newer and a different car but as for the 4200......will let you owners discuss that

haha....unfortunately, I don't know the information down to the colour of the piping!

I've seen a few come up, so I could have an educated guess. There are, at a guess, 30 LE's which are Nero/Nero (I don't know the split - the LE started in 2006 and there are 46 Nero/Nero cars which were made in 06/07 - I'd guess 1/2 the 2006 cars are non-LE). Of the ones I've seen for sale, there's a mix of pipings including yellow/grey/black/red and I dont know the split - of the estimated 30 LE's which I'd say are Nero/Nero, I would guestimate that 10-12 have the yellow piping, but it really is guess work at that level of information.

I feel like I've let you down! LOL! :)

Grr....just wrote large reply to "is it worth double" and LOST it! ggrrrr....

In short, comparing a 2003 4200 with 50k miles (such as this - http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2638295.htm) for £16k to a £32k GS isnt a fair comparison. IMO, a more realistic comparison is would you spend £7k more to get a car with 1/3 less miles and 2 years newer than this - http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2703982.htm - the most expenseive/latest 4200 currently for sale.

Or, trying to compare like with like, Si's GS had 55k on it, was 2005 and was advertised private for £22k - http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2657239.htm
The nearest I can find in 4200 form is this - http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2759919.htm - 55k miles, 2004 model (though 2003 car) for £2k less.

The difference isnt so stark looking at it like that, IMO.

I'm not wishing to be argumentative. Unfortuantely, there arent enough late 4200's for sale at the mo to do a sensible comparison, but I don't think the costs difference are that great for the 4200 vs GS.
