Hi Nando,
I have looked at the Loudlink web site, do you get just the black box with SD card slot, or a screen also, a bit confusing?? Is the 4200 fitted with Blaupunkt hardware then, I plan to get a 4200 and would be interested to know what kit is in it?
I can only comment on the kit I have, the bog-standard version - not read enough about the Bluetooth version.
All you get is the black (or in my case, grey) box. The way it works is:
1) rip apart your armrest console
2) unbolt the NIT
3) tear knuckles whilst blindly trying to connect a very long Blaupunkt cable to the back of NIT
4) connect other end of cable to Loudlink unit
5) shove all excess cable in any viable space
6) rebuild armrest
Then I use a 3.5mm headphone jack <-> iPod dock connector cable to link with iPhone.
If you have a CD changer, it will be rendered useless as you will plug your Loudlink cable where the Blaupunkt changer interfaces with the NIT. It worked perfectly for me as I didn't have a CD changer.
The interface on your screen will show 6 disks, one will be dedicated to the AUX on the Loudlink (iPhone for me) and the rest driven by folders on the SD card.
Does any of the above make sense???
I was looking at a 4200 in Nuvolari?
After much research it proved to be the fastest colour...
