Robin,

You learn alot about yourself having a car worked on, timescales seem to have no bounds......

Still she's with a great artisan so should come back looking mint, be all worth it in the end.

Also to note Bal , make friends with a good seemstress , you certainly need deeper pockets , no matter what budget you set there'll always find enough to break it , but as you say in the end , that first drive when its all sorted and mint kinda makes financial sense for a while in any case , but its a passion and a hobby , as i tell my missus , some guys spend £100 plus in the pub each week , or the same in the bookies , me, mine all goes on cars , well most of the rest goes on bird seed heheheh

Sad tho it may sound Frank , and completely out of character to anyone that knew me 10 or more years ago , my garden birds do give me a lot of pleasure and smiles , i was devastated a few years back when i learnt that Robins only live around 11 or 12 months , i thought i'd had the same one coming back for years hehe its true
