yes, as you know we were "teetering" about going so far again but had decided to come down as our trip this year so was annoying when this invitation came in :( fate I guess. at least yourself and contigo will keep up the 32 banner!
will just need to look at trying to arrange a Highland Hoon for September time to get it out my system!

Very sorry to hear that Greg :(

Was also looking forward to seeing your photos after the event too. Enjoy the wedding!!

I've changed jobs and working in Bristol Phil ..... That thirsty V8 was just costing to much each week so it had to go. The Brera will be a bit of a project for me (not your standard of project mind you). Mechanically it's good with good history but needs some tlc to bring it up to standard ........So over time will get her back to the condition she should be.....

I've always liked the Brera. The 2.4 is a nice torquey engine and pretty good for a daily drive. Quick enough to be entertaining on real roads. I wanted to get one when we bought our 159, but they hadn't been released at the time and couldn't give a delivery date. I didn't want to wait any longer than the 3 months we'd already been given for the 159.

Lots of stone chips and road rash on the bonnet so that needs painting, both side skirts has road rash so needs painting and at the front of them the paint has peeled off...Wheels need a refurd but would have always got them changed from silver to anthracite anyway. The interior is pretty good apart from the drivers side bolster that needs stitching and then needs a good detail to get rid of scratches. Also need a boot badge as it's faded......So all cosmetic although after and good wash and polish from a distance she looks OK. As you say Trev the engine is pretty torquey so pretty quick....very nose heavy though. I have found myself just going out to take a look at her just for the h3ll of it..Such a pretty car.....

it is still a nice looking machine Andy.
Almost bought one new at the launch, but idiot salesman helped me choose elsewhere. (promised me the V6 would be available - but they "only had the diesel", which I hated on principal - called it a pig in knickers  )

Led me to my 3200 so not a bad diversion I suppose. Might need to re-appraise my decision.

To make up for the arrival of Enzo I need to take a reluctant step backwards. Mainly this is because I'll be leaving on a Euro-tour less than a week later and cannot bollox my car at Brunty - there simply won't be time to deal with any remedial work. I'm already in for new rear springs on top of the impressive job-list that Marios has worked through this year so I'm not minded to inflict any more undue wear and tear so close to needing the car to be on best behaviour.

The practical upshot of this is that I still intend to come (subject to logistics and some tbc family commitments) and will be pleased to help in whatever way I can but if I do any laps at all it will be literally two or three, and sedate ones at that.

Sorry about that.

Appreciate the advance notice Adam - it's already been said that it's fine for people to come along and do a couple of laps, just so long as we know in advance to work out the rough slot times and drive durations. Will still be great to have you there, and there's plenty of marshalling to be done please. :)

Just thinking about the logistics for me for this event. It is on a Saturday? I will probably leave London after work and drive up halfway and stay at a holiday inn or something. Is there somewhere nice to stay after the event nearby? Will people be sticking around? Don't fancy a 2.5hr drive home immediately after. Prefer to stay the night and make my way home leisurely the next day.
