Hello everyone,
It has been a long time since I last posted here and thought to update you with my car, as you may have noticed I still had problem with my AC condenser and the electric fan. Thankfully David Askew advised me to check the fan for blockages and below you will see what I have found, after I removed this towel, it works just fine, I still have problem sourcing a condenser but I believe I have found one now which will arrive later this month in Greece.
Then the next step was to send it to a professional to fix the interior of the car which is like new now, honestly I was amazed with the job that they did, overall the interior was very very good but they managed to fix the small scratches and the steering wheel perfectly.
Then I proceed at the dealership with changing some parts that were not initially necessary, like the brakes. Although there was more use to do on them, there was something wrong and the car was vibrating during braking, so we decided to proceed with replacement in order not to create greater problems on the suspension. Original Asseto Corsa pads were fitted which was very very expensive, almost 1k, comparing to the 250 Euro of the normal 3200gt ones. Of course I kept the old ones, because you never know when they will run out of these.
I also did a small road trip and I clocked almost 1k kms on a weekend, which was trouble free with no surprises. Of course during that time I also became an expert on washing my car
I tried different towels, wax etc. in order not scratch the paint etc. The car looks very nice now and I feel very happy, I have booked an appointment at Modena on November for the Classiche Certification and I will keep you posted.
I want at this point to thank you all, people who have actively helped me with my questions but also those who have contributed in the past, your passion was a driving power for me and helped see a bright light when the bills were just pilling up and I was unsure if the car will become what I have dreamed.
