No speed bump issues generally, in fact my alfa 166 scapes the undertay!
We do have problem with one bump in our street, shaped like top half of a hexagon (flat top, straigh ramp entry and exit). This brushes the exhaust downpipe, rather than front spoiler.
We just drive on the wrong side of the road where it is lower and all is okay. Not a bad idea to hit one wheel on "unknown bumps", but only at really slow speed.

I do sometime have problems with certain speed humps (concrete/tarmac) and certain angled slopes so sometimes have to approach them at an angle to reduce the sharpness. Thankfully one road hump was very impressively removed by the council during the winter snow when their plough driver forgot it was there and drove straight through it, I knew the council ploughers were good for something!!!!

Thanks RS

With caution is the C Sense approach. Should be an anti speed bump route option developed for sat navs for us low riders ! I cringe when I hear that noise.

Hi CK

Thanks. Are you going to Rickmansworth on the 08th? See you there. I look forward to meeting you all and swapping tips. In the cars service receipts there are references to throttle repairs so I think it has been done. I will bring the history file with me and perhaps you guys can help me decipher it to confirm. It's in Maser language so I need assistance. I was out in her today showing her off to local friends for the first time. They all loved her looks and rumble. Later on I met my first speed bump in the lane leading to the Wiremill pub in Lingfield, Surrey. ( great pub overlooking a lake ) Passed over ok except the last one nearest the pub car park. A slight touch underneath at dead dead slow but all ok.

Paul

Hi Chippie

Thanks. Yes that got me thinking. In snow how the **** do the snow plough drivers know where they all are ? Oh well who cares !
Next time we have heavy snow I may fashion a full size 3200 on in my garden. I made a full size snow tiger last year with the stripes added with a lump of coal ! Snow man 3200 / 2011/12 Pictures to follow weather permitting :) That would be a giiggle. Only available in White though.

Hi

My GT goes in for the "check engine " warning light to be diagnosed and switched off. Hopefully never to illuminate again ( except on start check ) :) Had a great drive out 29th. Drove to Bexhil, Beach Head, Newhaven and Brighton.
If you spotted in that area it may have been me :)

Hi Dem

Thanks. Its going in under warranty. Just for ref how do I do that. Just disconnect and re-connect ? Also while your there on the long drive out yesterday the girls with me said that they could smell petrol. We closed the air intake vents and that seemed to improve. Are they known for a bit of that or should this be looked at while its in ?

Hi Dem

Have her back now and thanks for the great service from The Ferrari Centre Maidstone. The engine warning light was a faulty O2 sensor as suspected. The fuel odour in the cabin was a faulty jubilee clip in the fuel return pipe which runs behind the rear offside passenger area in the boot. No fuel leakage but vapour seal was not 100%. All well now and back in the garage.
Thanks for your help.

Regards
Paul

I could not stand it any longer ! She had to go into storage whilst my ( friend ) builder is using my garage to store the new kitchen being fitted as we speak. Thursday I got her out and to enjoy a few days of this glorious sunshine. Went to Uckfield on a course Friday morning and was driving through Ashdown Forest area. Fantastic. Anyway I want to check the oil now I have done 750 miles since ownership. A qucik question please 3200'ers. Do you check the oil cold or hot on these stalions ?

Paul
