Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the roads I am back from Barbados. My first day back and went out on the bicycle for training, hit my brakes on a load of wet leaves, skidded, came off and landed on my derriere.......net result I am black and blue, felt like a complete plonker and wishing I was back in the Caribbean. Other than that great to see you guys :tomato9:

Our gran is always falling over alot and banging her head, so I would not be too ******* yourself!

:bart_simpson-226:

Glad you had a good break if anyone needed it after the year they have just had it was you.

Anyway, it's straight back to the banter as you can see.

Welcome back fella.

Always been into single malt whisky myself but 'warmed' to rum after a couple of all inclusive Turkish holidays when it was the best and safest option... Now quite like as an occasional de-stress before retiring...

UM,
so the sun suited you then?
If anyone wasn't born in the British wet weather, would they actually be here.
I recall watching a TV prog of some sort (don't watch TV usually so no idea what it was) and it showed scenes of Scotland in the winter and all I could think was 'What the heck were those early Celts thinking (and the Vikings come to that), settling up there'! ...but of course they didn't know too much about the Mediterranean, did they? It's no darn wonder the good folk of the Land of the Scots enjoy their booze. It's bad enough on the South Coast!

I digress old chap - what I wanted to say was that I am sorry you did an A over T job wiht the bike. Hope the bruises go quickly and you don't have the wife carted off for abusing you?
Age is a difficult old thing to reconcile and I thought you were doing well ...but just shows how wrong I can be!
Try keeping the cars on all 4 wheels!
M

Just noticed that I'm a 'Senior member'. I tried reading that in so many ways. 'Senior' is absolutely right though 'Senior Moment' may be better.
What I'm really worried about is that it's a term may be a term of owership and therefore I 'HAVE' a 'Senior member'.
I do not need to be reminded!

Met a girl in Barbados who decided to live the dream. She was a highly paid buyer with fashion chain Miss Selfridge. She met and married a Bajan guy, moved to Barbados and now has a small beach hut selling a few fashion dresses whilst her husband runs a boat and jet ski hire business next door to her. ....every day swimming in the Carribean Sea.....WHAT COULD BE A BETTER LIFE THAN THAT?
