Considering the majority of their readers are school children I think you may be right.

Used to get in the the 80's (when I was at school) In them days it was the like of LJK Setright and was a good read.
Like you guys I can't remember the last time I bought a copy.

But isn't it amazing that the 4200 has been slated by the so called journos, JC used to moan about the nearly 400 bhp etc. So what, not all of us can afford to buy the latest dream machine with uber power. As a product I'd have to guess that it was a reasonable success for the firm, so all those out there who had one from new would be sub human in the eyes of these reviewers.

Martin Buckley once wrote "I've driven enough flawed supercars...." I think in a review on the Khamsin which I think sums up the above normal mondeos etc. I bet there isn't any sports car out there that hasn't got a down side no matter how small. I suppose we should get used to those kicks to the nuts that Maserati owners keep having directed at them as being the poor cousins to the other big producer. Time to invest in a box......

Soz guys, rant over for the day...

I think the big clue with CAR magazine is that its often comes sealed in a bag (so you can't see how cr@p it is in WHSmith before purchase).

Layout is horrid yes and photography is poor and the front cover is always so cluttered like some modified chav magazine.

I came across a box in the loft with the first 12 or so editions of Evo magazine in it. Great mag and such a difference from the rest of the dreary mags available at the time. I must have been up there for an hour, completely frozen, but loved it!

i wish it was known to me, it is just a picture i took off Flickr. I have seen that very car in the flesh at the NEC car park in Birmingham but could not get a good pic of it. It is one of my all time fave Gransports, it is a red Spyder.
