Caterhams seem to live in their own World with regards to price. Normal economic rules don’t apply. You either want one or you don’t, and you don’t compare them against a different car and contrast the costs. So I don’t think these will drop by the few thousand Pounds that many others will. Especially not the particular one I’m looking at. But I do want to feel appreciated as a client, and that I’ve had a good deal, neither of which I’m feeling just now.Why would you take a £500 discount when in a few weeks it will be thousands?
The H&H auction for tomorrow has just announced it will be conducted behind closed doors, so online and telephone bidding only. Some things could well go cheaply, e.g. the 55k mile, 2003 silver 4200 Spyder. Not many people will bid for one of these sight unseen, especially not in the current climate.
Time for the brave to step forward?
This looks rather wonderful. All the better for not being in the binary colour choices of silver or black.
Prefer these to the E55 of the same generation bit more fun to rev out and play with the paddles. https://www.handh.co.uk/auction/lot...0&au=329&ef=&et=&ic=False&sd=0&pp=48&pn=3&g=1
I think we buy any car have updated their system , my 2018 mustang with 6000 miles on has just been valued at £20,800 , there's not one up for retail anywhere at under 30k.
... on the plus side, i'm turning the FF into a dog car. F it, you only live once, and maybe not for long!
I think it's gone down by about 15k in the past month. So i might as well keep it. First world problem.
Still to high.A fella on Pistonheads put his Rangie Sport in for a WBAC quote last week and got an estimate of £34k, this week it came back at £24k.
Looking at Jaguar prices this morning and some bargains for sure and more to come.Like other I think car sales, especially at the higher end will fall off a cliff in the short term.
I may well look to change my XJ afterall, buyers market
More importantly 1 of only 2 out of 12 that have sold. The Spyder went for £15,250... one of only 2 cars to exceed estimate so far.
I got a call from aston Martin this evening on the way back from work - just ‘checking in’ to see if I was still interested in the DBS. After calmly discussing the financial climate I offered him 24 toilet rolls, £25 and a hand sanitiser for it. I said it was was a fair offer as at the end of the term I would still have lost £25 and 24 toilet rolls in value. He did see the funny side- and I would like to think he at least considered it. We agreed he would call me back in 2 weeks to revisit...More importantly 1 of only 2 out of 12 that have sold.
