I had the passenger seat of a 911 Turbo yesterday rather than taking the Mas, and must say that this was a brilliant event with a good atmosphere, a very eclectic mix of cars and clubs, and a superb convoy around the area with police waving us through red lights! It's not in the Goodwood league but it is big enough to attract celebs thanks to Chris Evans' involvement (like him or not you can't deny his contacts and car collection). When the car side winds down in the afternoon it's followed by live performances:

There was a Maserati presence including a formal Maserati UK stand, though not on the scale that I was expecting for the Centenary, and as for the 100 strong convoy of Maseratis, well who knows?
The organisers charged around £500+VAT per pitch (tent provided), and you are allowed a maximum of 7 cars per day, so if you rotate the attendance over the 3 days you potentially have 21 lucky participants. If it's wet you get soaked as there's little cover (this is a working farm), and if it's sunny you get burnt like me, but either way you should have a good time.
Club pitches are booked well in advance, so is anyone interested for 2015, either as Sportsmaserati if Matt permits or as a private collective with shared cost?
