CEL Oil Error/electrics

Had a blast to Sussex last night to meet some of the locals, Had a CEL Oil Error, checked the usual this morning and saw at the back of the engine a few of the electric cables had the web wrapping completely worn out over time with the heat.
When I touched the cables the wrapping was like powder, just flaked away. Anyway I completely removed all the old stuff and re-covered the cables.
Here is a photo of the before so you can check where to look. On the second photo you can see the wrapping is crisp and brittle.

i presume this fixed your error? looks nice whats the tape you are using?

Yes it solved the problem and was so pleased it was an easy fix, went for a good drive down the A3 and no problems, I bought the tape from Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00QX54YIK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 bought two as it was so cheap.

You can't see in the photos but the cable had worn out quite low down, took me about an hour as i was trying to be careful and not knock anything.
