Centenary emblem, keyring, tax disc holder etc

Probably, yes. Would they be likely to take action? Possibly.

It's certainly sailing close to the wind but I've got a (very tasteful) key ring with the Maserati trident that isn't genuine Maserati merchandise, and there are a fair few for sale on EBay too.

It doesn't make it right, but shows that they probably don't spend much time trying to stamp out this kind of thing.

I could put in a call to Maserati's UK marketing dept but I suspect the default reply would be 'no'.

The thing is these are for sale on a forum and not in a shop etc so I really don't see an issue with it.

Not sure they could even be unofficial forum merchandise, just stuff sold between friends and enthusiasts who happen to share an interest. Matt would need to chip in about that, I know Maserati have frowned on use of even their font on the forum before.

We had a similar thing with the Moto Guzzi logo on a Moto Guzzi forum over a calendar of all things.

Must be an Italian thing!

I like the first design best too, I will have a tax disc (is that double sided)?, keyring and mug if we go for them all..!!

I think Maserati would have a really hard time if they decided to get heavy with a Maserati Enthusiasts Forum regarding the use of the logo..!!

First design for me, Couple of keyrings, couple of mugs and holder.

1) Is it posible to get the holder inside out, so the logo shows where the disc should no longer be.
2) Shouldn't it be Sportsmaserati.*com* ?

Disc Holder should be double sided really..!!

Agree, in reality it does not need to function as a tax disk holder as these will be redundant inside 12 months so double sided window sticker is all that is needed.

I think the anni font is Frutiger (T1) or very close to that, what does it look like with that font?

On an earlier thread it was suggested that we should create a tax disc holder/window sticker for forum members, to celebrate the centenary.

Here are some initial designs that one of my designers has knocked up. There are two versions but shown in situe on a tax disc holder/window sticker, keyring and mug.

Let me know your feedback/preferences.

Also if you'd be interested in any or all of the items please say which and I'll get some quotes for producing them, subject to getting sufficient numbers.
