How about a cigar thread here - so we don’t annoy and infringe on the ‘wine’ and ‘what you drinking now’ thread?
I realise we must be in the minority these days, but even so, there must be a few of us. Doctor Houx I presume?

Is there a lock on the door too? :) Fabulous! If only I had had one of these after a trip to Cuba. Came back laden with cigars sold by the cabin crew out of their "carry on luggage" which more or less blocked most of the exits! Threw most of them away in the end as no opportunity or place to enjoy them.

I once played an international against Cuba (Rugby) and they gave us cigars afterwards. But that’s the extent of my smoking. Afterall, smoking and elite level sport aren’t natural bed fellows!

So jealous. I enjoy a cigar (we have shared our liking of Punch Punch before) and am allowed to smoke in the 'play room' which houses my pool table and jukebox but with a condition that all of the windows are open. This is no fun at this time of year if enjoying something with a large ring so I have taken to cigarillos .... about a 15 minute smoke which is bearable.

Roll on the summer.

Only if after we can all meet up we drive to yours and smoke your cigars and drink your wine otherwise **** no. ;)

Bebs, you just want us all to be jealous of your mancave! Great looking place there and I rather like the armchairs.

I do like an occasional cigar but only have them outdoors so they're summer lazy afternoons & evenings things for me. Sunshine + lounger + bottle of rioja + cigar = bliss
Or I'll have one for a leisurely stroll. I just don't like the smell of cigar smoke the next morning, so can't let it happen indoors.

What I am hapPea to smoke indoors occasionally is my sheesha. That, to me, just smells like a pleasant incense and the house smells lovely afterwards! Also, good smoke circle-blowing fun to be had!
I have some Al Faqr 'backy - cherry flavour and grape & apple flavour.

What are your smokes of preference, and why?

Thank you for the kind comments. You are all absolutely correct, there’s nothing worse than stale, day after, cigar smoke. It hangs around and is difficult to get rid off. So what I did in that room is install a mechanical extraction system in the ceiling that vents outside. It pretty much takes care of any odours that might occur, including alcohol ;)

Yep, that can be arranged. I’m up for a garden SM cigar and wine party once this COVID madness disappears :welcome1:
A dangerous offer in deed. I would send the missus away for the week if I were you. Weekend for the party and week to rebuild.

Union. So the real game, with real scrums, rucks, mauls, etc. Not the 13-a-side summer version played by people wearing nylon football kit.

I don’t care how long ago it was that is f*cking awesome.

and we appear to have the same opinion of League.
