Interesting that no mention is made of balancing the flywheel/clutch once its installed, I wonder how similar this process is on the 3200GT?

Also a debate at one stage about the need for it to be balanced...................spoke to one mechanic who said there was a way around it....hhhhmmmmmmmm.......

Yep the debate to balance or not to balance, that is the question.

We did some asking around last time we have this clutch debate going, and the most garages were found not to balance, but nothing conclusive about doing a clutch replacement at home was reached.

but no way to reset the F1 sensor other than with sd2/3 , worth having the parameter reset aswell also by sd2/3 , most astute mechanics/tech guys should find it possible to do the work of the main fitting , but without the sd2/3 correct settings will not be possible , so a trip to the dealer anyway , not to say that you cant make a seperate arrangement to do the fitting yourself and then get an seperate price for set up at an indie of say around £60
