Well the fun continues, the upper arm bolts are no longer available, so the one I was going to cut out I may now need to save.... Anyone know of an alternative? I guess I can take a good one in somewhere and get them to find an equivalent size / thread and steel?
I had to cut one out when I did mine, replaced it in the interim with a standard 12.9 high tensile bolt and nyloc nut from a local hardware supplier, then replaced it with the OEM one.
From my notes when I did this, the rear upper bolt is M14x1.5x100 - but this was 8 years ago so do check the length is right. If it matters to you, the suspension bolts are fine thread, but the ones you can buy off the shelf will be coarse thread. If you want exactly the right bolt and nut, you’ll have to special order a fine thread bolt of the correct size.
Superformance sell all of the hardware, but you’ll pay a bit more because they are also buying them from a hardware supplier.
