Hi,

I've discovered that the section detailing the crank sensor gap for my 3200 is missing from my electronic version of the manual. Could someone let me know what it should be please? At the moment mine is running at 0.7mm but I think this might be a little wide...

Thanks,

Steve

Steve,

Many thanks for this. The photo shows a delta but I can't read it - could you tell me what the maximum and minimum is? My sensor is currently at 0.7mm and I need to know if this is within tolerance.......

Thanks again,

Steve

Hi Guys, just wanted to let you know about a problem with the crank sensor on my 3200 that I have now resolved. Since buying the car it would not start from normal operating temp unless I left it switched off for 5-10 minutes. After fitting 2 new crank sensors I found the problem was the gap/clearance to crank was too wide. I have now removed the 2 shims and got the gap to the recommended 0.6 and not had the starting problem since. Hope this helps anybody with the same problem. Mark.

Nice colour your 3200 Mark.. Verde Mexico. I looked everywhere for one when I bought my old 3200GT,ended up with Verde Mistral, apparently from the factory records only 80 cars were ever ordered with this colour..

Have fun
