Today through no fault of my own , im placed in a really awkward situation need some advice , as you may/ may not know last night around 6 went to my mates tire depot to get my two new Vredsteins put on the rims , had them stuffed in the back of the merc ,
Happily my mate dished out one rim to each of his workers along with the said tires , we went in his office for a coffee , 10 mins later one lad who i know well has worked there for years came wheeling along one rim finished and balanced i inspected it and then gave him the keys to put it in the boot , another 10 mins went by and the last one was put in the boot , said my goodbyes and thanked my mate as he had done them for free , came home and left the rims in the merc overnight
Just put them on the GS and the first rim i took out i noticed had been badly butchered, paint badly chipped about 4 inches long
Obviously i want to complain , my mate wont be happy in fact he WILL sack the guy who did it , but i feel sick with xmas round the corner and the guy loosing his job what do you guys think i should do it'll cost me £70 to get it redone anyway cant charge my mate as he done them for free not sure i should say nothing but i'd feel real guilty the guy getting the sack just on xmas , he might have kids and a mortgage .i know if the guy worked for me ...... no ifs or butts i'd let him go
regards loz
