Called my insurer today and asked about the premium for the DMS ECU upgrade. They called be back to say no change in the cost of the policy. Quite surprised and a good result.FYI I insure through a broker and the underwriter is Groupama.

Yet more good news , the 4200 is with groupama , and the Gransport is with Royal sun alliance both via Aplan have to give them a shout

Called them this morning and have booked the 8am slot on the 2nd of April with the dyno runs on my 2002 4200 cambio corsa but im not clever enough to update the page.

So is somebody going to post the dyno results for all cars? It will be interesting to see what the before and after figures are for each car and for somebody to be crowned 'most powerful Maserati on the SM forum'!

Also....if those people who have other modifications, such as performance air filters, the larini exhausts, will these also add a few BHP on the road?!

Interesting to see the slight variations all the same.............................

Not sure if I've missed a post or some instructions, so do I need to ring DMS to book my time and date or just add to the list above?
I'd like 1 pm on the 2nd.

I rang them myself this morning to book my slot.
Im going first on the 2nd as that gives me the rest of the day to play.

Absolutely Frank. I'm keen to see whether the DMS tuning adds a similar amount (either absolute BHP/torque or % of each) to each car and to compare standard cars with each other and against the already modified cars. I don't know if there is an expectation of power increase for any of the FD mods as I believe they are about improving driveability, but there is a general assumption that Larinis and BMC air filters will add something other than an amazing noise!

Cool, I've just followed Loz's instructions in his PM and dropped them a line, I'll follow up with a call tomorrow as I have to nip out and do some work now.

Just a thought.... When I had my 4.2 dyno'd the people that did it couldn't get a proper read out as the ECU (I guess?) wouldn't let the rear wheels go past 120mph whist the front wheels were stationary. Do these people have a way round this?

....I don't know Dan........but am sure theres a way to measure output with out reaching your maximum speed.....:).......pm Spidernick or Loz/Matt will know.......

Hi Dan,

I don't know the answer but the Dyno readout for mine is in 4th gear so i suppose its how fast 4th gear will take you.

They didn't say anything about a 120 mph limit on the rears compare with the fronts.
