Hi

I recently bought a Granturismo and there are some engine cover bolts missing, also the others are a bit tatty. I am looking to replace them with new but the price from Scuderia car parts and Eurospares are £7 each I need 20.

The maserati part number is 67721000

Does anybody know part numbers for the same from Fiat, Alpha or Lancia?

Thanks in advance

Must be some stainless equivalents about.....

I could do with some of those. If anyone can find good replacements I would be interested also.

I have looked into this before, they are heinously expensive for OEM and I couldn’t find any that were an exact match.

Well we have people on here seem to be able to make anything from suspension parts through, peddle covers, seat levers and have brake discs manufactured and key not forget the watch stand ........ someone must be able to sort out polished stainless fixings - I would definitely buy some as I am sure would many others !

Also the bolts have a shoulder designed to locate the cover.

Undertray bolts too if anyone is going to make them.

Just remember on the front engine cover they are not all the same length.

looking at no 4 on this diagram says there are 23 of them, seem to be all the same size..

I will play guinea pig, gonna take em off n measure them all on mine, cause I’m sure the last time I had them off I just put them back anywhere.

As for the step to locate the cover, don’t believe that would be needed but could be taken up with a small bush If it is.

From memory, the two at the rear of the cover are the longer ones.

I was referring to the front engine cover removed when doing Variators.
If using good tools they won't get damaged just saying.

Can't find too much about MaseratiSpares but the owner's faceache page looks interesting. For what that's worth.
For a small ticket item though it might be worth giving the guy at least an email.

Surely if they are just M5 they are easy to make,we get loads of goodies manufactured...maybe in titanium etc
