some people pay more for pictures to sit on the wall - what is the difference with art you can walk around. having said that why would you not drive a machine like this to hear that roar - maybe just the engine has been run to hear the sound.

just suggestion - fit run time clocks to see if collectors have been running the engines

I remember not so long ago Romans had another delivery mile Enzo for sale which belonged to the Pope, why did Ferrari give the Pope an Enzo, as if he was going to drive that to Aldi.

They were supposed to make 399 Enzos only but ended up doing 1 more for the Pope to be sold at a later stage to raise money for charity.

Oh, and I'd rather have an MC12. :D

You will find Ferrari made about 480 Enzo's, was speaking to an Enzo owner on Sunday and his car was built in 2006, Enzo production was supposed to have finished in 2005. It was the same story with the 288 GTO Ferrari knew they could sell the 200 required to go racing but customer demand made them produce 272. This also happened with the F40, 349 were planned, just over 1300 were made.

Didn't know that either.
Smart marketing from Ferrari - start with the impression of limited production run, to stimulate demand, but kepp making them to profit and stifle the "premium market" (for selling place on the list).
