Hi all
Dropped number 1 son to footy this morning and the old 3200 went into limp mode on way home.
Turned ignition off and restarted and it went away
Quick check and the error code is:
Po221 throttle/pedal position sensor switch B circuit range performance problem.
This sounds like an adventure into the world of contact less throttle body and new pedal sensors or maybe just a grumpy car on a damp morning? Anyone had this code before and got to the bottom of it without a shed load of new bits?
I also have a PO500 vehicle speed sensor malfunction error which has returned having been cleared last time round so presumably it I s a real issue. The car seems to behave fine but I need to get it fixed. Anyone know where this sensors is and whether it is a common problem?
Finally I made up a USB cable to plug into the old style ODB socket but which has an integral power lead to plug into *** lighter. Transpired I have old car but new style plug so don't need it. If anyone would like this for Christmas just let me know?
Thanks
Ian
