Its a good article Pibbow.....The fact they can not pick a winner and say that any of the cars will brighten you day is great....I do love a CUP...a car that started to put Maserati back on the map....
in 3 years time when hopefully i have earned a good amount of money and want a weekend car, i really would consider the classic route and buy a Ghibli Cup for about 16k. Such a special Maserati.
I just love them, looks, sound, Turbo's, Manual gearbox and exclusivity, bad thing is as they are so rare, most owners will want more than what they are worth as they are so rare.
The last few Ghibli Cups I've seen for sale have been around 17k....Probably didn't sell for that....Still they haven't dropped in money for a number of years....Love them..
They do love the Ghibli Cup Adam....Thinks its because Harry had one back in Performance car and early EVO days so they had a good year to understand how great the car was.....
I think it's quite refreshing to see what is quite a mainstream "thinking man's" petrolheads mag, take a good slant on something from the Biturbo era-
8 out of 10 car "enthusiasts" believe the Top Gear version of reality in my experience (skips dropped onto cars and such) and it's nice to have a more balanced take on things...
