F1 pump help

hello everybody,
I'm working ******* the replacement of my F1-pump and despite Predators
excellent article ("F1 Pump removal and fitting instructions......")
I find it very difficult to get access to the pump.

It would be much easier if this undercarriage-crossbar (see my picture) could be removed
temporarily. Does anyone know if this could be done without any problem ?
Is anything important connected to this bar ?

IIRC, that cross member holds the gearbox mounting. If you jack up the gearbox, you can unbolt the main rubber gearbox mounting and remove the cross member which then allows good access to the F1 pump.
