Does anyone have pictures of the FD springs on a 3200? I am curious about the ride height, since it is not adjustable...

How do you mean Its not adjustable Andreas, you just wind down the spring platforms...
You can't go very far on the front due to the roll bar being in the way
I wonder what the difference in weight is between the 3200 and 4200 engines, does anyone know..

Perfect summation of the issue Miles but im getting it st lower speeds 120-140 kph

Really? Hmmm. I think you've mentioned your looking at geo' setup, which seems sensible. Does it look like it sits high at the front?

Originally it was set high

Managed to get hold of the factory specs and it was reset

Looks ok at the moment , previously looked odd

Might get u to take some mesurements if thats not too much of an inconvenience -gather u have std BBS spider web wheels with std tyre sizes

Front/rear pls mesure top of fender arc to wheel centre & tyre pressure

Just had a good chat with Philip Kyle of PK Supercars about my GS ride height appearing to be higher at the nearside rear than the other corners. Although he's not sure why it's the case, he has experience of several GSs that all have the same issue. He reckons it could be that it is set-up to compensate something else such as cornering on track or perhaps weight of driver for LHD cars. If that's the case them Maserati may not have altered the heights for RHD which is possible I guess. He's going to try and get an explanation from Maserati technical so if I hear anything, i'll post an update.

I may now have to invest in some lowered springs although the Formula Dynamics ratings look quite stiff to me. I may look at alternatives from H&R and Eibach etc. I suppose I'd also change the anti-roll bars too.

Onwards and upwards.

Harvey Bailey was sold on by EPM and one of the two original founders has set up with his nephew. They supply new Bilstein shock absorbers and revalve them, if required. They, also, supply anti roll bars and have tried out a couple on my 3200, settling on the 25mm as best.
